This NFT collection was created to bring light to the different types and styles of Hijab that Muslim women wear. There are many stereotypes where people assume that wearing Hijab is oppressive to the women whereas it is rather a means of protecting and empowering women.
The term Hijab not only refers to the head scarf on a woman's head but the whole action of observing modesty in their actions and in the way they clothe themselves. As a woman who made the decision to observe modesty and Hijab, I wanted to create a means of education about the Hijab creatively so with the increase use of NFTs, I thought it would be a great platform to express this art piece.
